The City's Team

Aktobe is a football club from the city of Aktobe, one of the most decorated in Kazakhstan. For the city and the region, it has long been more than a team: the Red and Whites are part of local sporting life.

History and Names

The club was founded in 1967 as Aktyubinets. Over the years it has changed its name several times:

• 1967–1995: Aktyubinets
• 1996–1997: Aktobemunai
• 1997–2000: Aktobe
• 2000–2005: Aktobe-Lento
• Since 2005: Aktobe

Colors

The club's colors are red and white — the colors that identify Aktobe in the stands and on the pitch.

Titles

• Kazakhstan champion (5): 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013
• Kazakhstan Cup winner (2): 2008, 2024
• Super Cup winner (3): 2008, 2010, 2014

Aktobe has represented Kazakhstan in UEFA competitions.

The Club Today

Today the club includes a first team, a youth squad, and women's and futsal teams. Aktobe plays its home matches at the Central Stadium named after Koblandy Batyr.

On January 8, 2026, Aktobe moved into private ownership. The club was acquired by Nurlan Artykbayev's company, Qazaq Stroy Properties. Before that, Aktobe had been a regional (oblast-owned) club.
